The focus is simple: photograph what is real, create what matters, and stop forcing work that does not belong.

Wildlife. Weather. Landscapes. Storms. Emergencies. Community moments. Rural life. Unexpected scenes. The things happening outside, in the field, and in the world as it actually is.

This work is not about staging everything until it looks perfect.

It is about paying attention.

It is about being there when the light changes, when the weather rolls in, when wildlife appears, when something happens in the community, or when a moment exists for only a few seconds before it is gone.

Samantha has spent more than 25 years behind a camera, beginning with film and continuing through decades of photography, creative work, events, action, nature, and real-world documentation.

Nature is at the center of Iron Buffalo Co.

Landscapes, wildlife, forests, weather, rivers, mountains, rural places, changing seasons, and the details most people walk past without noticing.

Some moments are dramatic.

Some are quiet.

Both are worth preserving.

The goal is not to manufacture the outdoors into something it is not. It is to capture the character already there.

Field Photography

Some stories happen outside the studio.

Iron Buffalo Co. also documents emergencies, fires, severe weather, community events, action, and other real-world situations when conditions, access, and safety allow.

This work is approached as documentation first.
